ABOUT ME

I am a Los Angeles based therapist who provides in-person therapy in Pasadena and telehealth therapy to Californian residents.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Spiritual & Depth Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles.

I am rooted in a psychodynamic perspective, which acknowledges the importance of both conscious and unconscious influences in our lives, seeking the balance and integration between the two. I am also psychodynamically oriented in that I believe addressing the root cause of a person’s existing fears, struggles, and unhappiness ultimately comes from understanding early life experiences. I am highly adept at listening for unconscious material that might be hijacking a person’s or a couples’ current day experiences, causing one to suffer and impact their relationship with others and with themselves.

With me, every person’s healing journey is thoughtfully tailored to that individual or couple, drawing from my training in psychodynamic relational therapy, attachment theory, trauma informed somatic experiencing, and psychoanalysis. I am also trained with integrating more creative approaches such as dream analysis, guided imagination, archetypal psychology (mythology/symbols), shadow work, art therapy, and trauma informed dance therapy/organic movement therapy.

But regardless to the approach used, I will work to provide you with a safe and supportive environment to explore, heal, and grow. Together, I can help you break free from limiting patterns, and step into a life of authenticity and contentment.

Aside from working at a The Holding Space, I also volunteer 1-2x a week, as a therapist working in underserved communities through Counseling Partners of LA.
